Privacy Policy

What we collect

The public website collects minimal data. If we measure marketing-site traffic, we use privacy-first, cookieless analytics that records only aggregate visits — it sets no cookies and collects nothing that identifies you. The MeasureProof application records limited first-party usage events as described below. When you run a free scan, we process the URL you submit and the tracking behavior observed on that page to produce your report. If you email us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply. If you create an account, MeasureProof stores account-linked data such as your scan reports, baselines, and the email address you sign up with.

Analytics and cookies

This website does not use any advertising or cross-site tracking. Marketing-site traffic measurement is cookieless and aggregate: it sets no analytics or advertising cookies and does not track you across sites. The application analytics described below also use no analytics or advertising cookies. Because there are no optional cookies to consent to, the site shows no cookie banner.

The site may rely on strictly necessary cookies set by our hosting and content-delivery provider for security and basic functionality. We do not set analytics or marketing cookies.

Free scans

When you run a free scan, we load the URL you submit in a clean, sandboxed browser and record the tracking requests the page makes. Raw capture is short-lived: before storage, we drop cookies, auth headers, request bodies, and raw full URLs, and keep only the minimized observation needed to produce your report. Stored request evidence is limited to redacted, vendor-aware, or PII-sanitized values, and measurement IDs are partially masked on shareable surfaces. A scan report may be reachable through a link — treat that link as private. We retain reports and their evidence only as long as needed to provide them and improve our validations, and you can request deletion at any time.

Application analytics and abuse prevention

If you write to us through the contact form on this site or the feedback form in the application, we keep the message you send, along with the name and email address if you choose to provide them, so we can reply. We do not sell that information, share it with third parties, or use it for advertising.

When you use the MeasureProof application — for example, viewing a report or account page, copying a report link, or submitting a scan, sign-in, watch, notification, or feedback form — we process limited first-party usage and request information. The requesting IP address is converted to a keyed pseudonymous value and is not stored in raw form. For up to 30 days, this value can correlate actions from the same request source for product analytics, fraud and abuse detection, diagnosis, and rate limiting. Bounded request metadata supplied by our security provider may also be retained for form submissions. Aggregate counts may remain after the detailed rows expire. We do not use this information for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Connected analytics access (planned)

Connected GA4/GTM access is a planned feature and is not available yet. When it ships, connecting your accounts will grant MeasureProof read-only access to the GTM and GA4 configuration you choose to share; we will request the minimum access required for that purpose and store any credentials encrypted.

Data retention and deletion

You can request deletion of your scan reports or account data at any time by emailing [email protected].
